Mindful Nutrition
Knowing more about what nutrition means can lead to better eating habits for you and your family. Here we share what the experts are saying and providing you with foundations of mindful nutrition.
The first thing I want to put out there is the myth there is one type of eating lifestyle for everyone that will work their whole life. Your way of eating is affected by your genetics, food availability, and your biochemical and cultural individuality. Most people have no idea what is the best fuel for their body. We are not taught how to find what works best for us as an individual person, not just the way we were raised to eat or what the latest fad diet is. We also do not take into account the need to switch up their food choices based on their bodies changing needs.
I encourage you to watch this video from Paul Chek, who is in my opinion, one of the most helpful experts on holistic nutrition. He mentions in the video the Metabolic Typing Diet to learn more on eating better for your body type. You can find the assessment of the Metabolic Typing Diet from Bill Wolcott that will give you a detailed report on eating right for your type here.
